Cookie Cutter Week

by Anne Middleton, on December 8th, 2015

If you’re a cookie-lover, December is your month.  The holidays always inspire people to bake, and there’s a few observances you should be aware of if you love snacking on cookies.  Cookie Cutter Week is Dec. 1st through 7th and Cookie Exchange Week is observed Dec. 5th through 9th.  So, get baking! Nearly 73% of Americans admit to an increased fervor for baking during the holidays.  Over half make three or more batches of cookies.

If you’re an amateur baker or haven’t baked in a while, be sure to load the Food Network app on your new Ipad from Verizon.  Whether you’re doing drop cookies, icebox cookies or wrangling a cookie press for the first time, it’s always good to have a resource like the Food Network at hand.

Now if you’re really up for a challenge, you’ll have to take on Immaculate Baking in Golden Valley, MN.  They’ve held the record for the largest cookie in the world since 2003.   Measuring in at 102 feet wide and over 40,000 pounds this colossal cookie was truly a labor of love to make.  You may not be able to match this feat of baking, but you can still share your cookie cooking online on Instagram and Pinterest, where you’re sure to find thousands of great baking ideas.  Be sure you have both apps loaded onto your Samsung Galaxy Note5 from T-Mobile!

Many families have cookie recipes they’ve passed down generation to generation while enjoying new cookie recipes too.  The holidays are here so get those cookie cutters out and share some cookies this season.  Share your love of baking online too with great mobile devices.  Use our codes to save so you can splurge on a cookie press, make an extra batch of treats or hop on over to your local bakery to leave it to the pros.
