Fall Shoe Trends

by Anne Middleton, on December 10th, 2015

If you’re tired of winter whites, inky blacks and earthy browns already, you still have many fashion-forward choices for winter and fall footwear.  Designers have been more playful than ever with hues this fall and the same is true for shoes.  Here’s a rainbow of colors for fall that you might see in the fashion rags as temperatures plummet.

1. Pastels—The palest of the pales are in this fall.  Ultra-feminine, desaturated hues are making a comeback.

2. Orange—A nod to the 60s and 70s, shades of orange are exciting designers.  The Chuck Taylor All Star Fresh Colors Sneaker in Orange by Converse are a great way to get a pop of this fashionable hue in your wardrobe, so use our codes to save.

3. Red—Holly and scarlet are ultra-chic this year, in stark contrast to the also frequent pastels, so if you’re not demure, be the lady in red this holiday season.  Boston Proper’s Fringe Heel Boot is the perfect shoe for a diva as the temperatures drop.

4. Pantone calls the shade Amethyst Orchid, and here’s what we know.  It’s a lush, sumptuous regal purple.  Wear it.  Love it.  Perfect for the purple lovers out there, it’s haute for winter and fall.

5. Metallic Silver—Futuristic and shiny, metallic silver will make you glow this holiday season.   A new pair of Women’s Classic Short Sparkle Boots by UGG will round out casual outfits well.

Buy shoes you love!  Women own 20 pairs of shoes on average, but only wear four pairs regularly.  Whether you’re a fashion fanatic or prefer to stick to the classics, use our codes when you shop for shoes and save.  Whether you’re adding some classic black heels or springing for a pair of tangerine-hued shoes, we’ll help you keep a little extra money in your pocket.  The average women spends nearly $25K on shoes in her lifetime, so it behooves you to be savings-savvy while being fashion-forward.
