'Tis the Season to be Scary

‘Tis the season to be scary! Though I’m not a huge fan of being scared, I do love any excuse to play dress up, so Halloween is a personal favorite.  Googling around the cyber world for a costume, I came to two conclusions: 1) Batman and Disney dominate the category, and 2) for women, there’s a “sexy” version of every costume imaginable. Sexy Minnie Mouse, sexy Minion, sexy cupcake (Seriously?! A sexy baked good?!), Sexy Cat in the Hat, and even sexy Elsa from Frozen. This last one is perplexing; as though regular Elsa isn’t sexy? I mean, original Elsa already has a strapless sequined dress with a slit up the thigh. What’s not sexy about that? But I digress.

Back to the scary...another thought occurred to me while surfing the web for Halloween gear: what if a hacker decided to be ME for Halloween? You know, like use my credit card number to buy their costume, and my credit history and social security number to open a couple more credit cards to fund their Thanksgiving and Christmas merriment, too.
