Mixed media artists are enthralled by colors and textures. Since junior high, I’ve always been jazzed by what was possible, taking everyday things and re-purposing them for art. Would it shock you to learn that people experience decreased stressed when they check their emails less often? Well now there is empirical data to support this common sense conclusion. To no one’s surprise, a new study identified that people felt less stressed when they checked emails only three times a day, instead of constantly glancing at their electronic devices.
In fact, the lower stress levels encountered from the frequent email obsession also predicted higher health ratings for folks of all types.
However, as you might guess, modifying email habits proved difficult for many involved in the study.
